Two killed when police, Biplav-led group exchange fire in Bhojpur
Bhojpur, 10 July । Two people died when police and Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) -led group burned fire in Bhojpur district headquarters this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Police Constable Sanjeev Rai and Okhaldhunga in charge of Netra Bikram Chand-led group, Nir Kumar Rai, said the Chief District Officer, Nurhari Khatiwada.
Similarly, Police Constable Khomnath Bhattarai was injured in the incident and is currently receiving treatment at District Hospital. Both Sanjeev and Nir Kumar were taken to the hospital soon after they hit by gunfire. Doctors announced them dead on arrival.
Security has been beded up at the district headquarters after the incident. Continuous rainfall has created problems in the investigation, said police.
