Biplav Group’s Solukhumbu secretary arrested
Bharatpur, 12 July ।
The Chitwan police arrested Shiva Khadka, the Solukhumbu district secretary of the Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ group.
Police were searching for Khadka on a tip off that he was hiding in Chitwan. Khadka was arrested from Jyotinagar area of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-26 on Thursday.
She was the Biplav-led Communist Party of Nepal’s central member and Koshi regional bureau coordinator and the district secretary for Solukhumbu last year. She was born in Khalpa, Necha Salyan rural municipality-2 in Solukhumbu.
The government has outlawed the Communist Party of Nepal under the leadership of Biplav, after the party was involved in violence and bombings.
