Heavy rainfall affects daily life
Lahan,30 Sept. Heavy rainfall since the past four days has affected public life in Siraha district. Regular daily activities have been hampered as a result.
And the heavy downpour has also affected shopping for the Bada Dashain festival that began on Sunday. Daily rainfall coupled with cold wave has made life difficult.
Roads have been muddy in the urban centers as well as in the village area, making transportation difficult. The postal road has been difficult to travel even for pedestrians.
There has been a sudden surge in the water level and current rivers in the district. However, no physical or human casualty has been reported so far, the District Police Office, Siraha said.
