Two more die of COVID-19: Health Ministry

Kathmandu, May 31 (RSS): Two more individuals died of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. At a regular press briefing, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Bikas Devkota said that one each from Dailekh and Bajura districts died of COVID-19.

With this, the number of people dying of coronavirus infection in the country reached eight.    

The 35-year-old man from Dullu Municipality-11in Dailekh district, who died on Saturday, was under quarantine facility.

Dr Devkota said that the report of his swab samples showed positive for the coronavirus.

Likewise, two-year-old baby girl from Bajura district died on Sunday morning. The infant was admitted to Bajura Hospital following fever, diarrohea and problems in respiration. Her swab samples were collected and sent to Seti Provincial Hospital just three days ago.

It is said that she had come to Nepal along with her parents from India on May 23.
