Alternative Teaching Facilitation Directives-2077 BS to be amended

            Kathmandu, Aug 22 (RSS):  Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel has said the Alternative Teaching Facilitation Directives-2077 BS would be amended following the suggestions from experts and stakeholders.

            In a virtual meeting with representatives of Social Development Ministry at the State-1, State-2, Bagmati State and State-5, and with the chiefs of local bodies of these States today, Minister Pokharel came up with this view urging to continue alternate teaching activities in the critical hour of pandemic.

            The guideline was issued by the Ministry to facilitate alternate teaching learning via online, radio, television among other electronic devices on May 31 this year.

            Minister said that this academic session should not let go waste in the name of pandemic caused by COVID-19 outbreak in the country adding that the local level should manage alternate arrangements for the same.

            It is stated that the participants were agreed to utilize this academic session adopting any kind of effective alternate in teaching learning activities.
