Wife killed; husband, son injured in road mishap

A woman has died and her husband and son were injured in a road mishap at the Prithvi highway along the Tanahun district of Bandipur rural municipality-5.
The deceased has been identified as Sova Dhital, 30, of the Bharatpur Metropolitan City, according to the District Police Office, Tanahun.
Similarly, Suraj Dhital, 36, and nine-year-old Arpan Dhital were injured in the crash, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Leelaraj Lamichhane.
The accident took place when a jeep (Ba 18 Cha 5316) heading toward Dumre from Muglin hit the scooter (State 3-00-01 Pa. 83) coming from the opposite direction.
Sova died while undergoing treatment at New Medical College, Bharatpur, on Wednesday night, while injured Suraj and Arpan are receiving treatment at the same hospital. The health condition of the injured is improving, said police.
