Betrabati, 11 July । The shortage of anti-snake venom is sick patients in Nuwakot.

Patients have been forced to reach Kathamndu in the treatment of acute shortage of anti-venom medication in the district.

Bhuvan Raj KC, the Public Information Officer at the District Hospital Trishuli, said that the result was the result of ignorance from the center to anti-snake venoms. It may be noted that the supply was not made based on the government data stating that Nuwakot was not a health issue of energy.

According to him, at least five snake-stung cases weekly come to the hospital from Nuwakot and neighboring neighborhoods, Rasuwa and Dhading.

The patients have been sent to Kathmandu in the venom. “It was found that the poisonous snakes have entered into the district while construction materials from other districts, especially Terai,” said the information officer further.

“We are hopefully getting anti-snake venoms from next month since demand for the same was with the center”, he said.

Rammani Ghimire, the Incharge of Nuwakot Health Office, said that there is no need to be able to take the medicines from the Department of Epidemiology and Disease Control of the Health Service and supply them to the hospitals and other health facilities.
